La Quinta, CA........I am down in the desert right now, and, wow, is it hot!!! It was 122 degrees F two days ago....WAY too hot to go out shooting anywhere!! But I have been dying to get out with my camera....sooooooo, out into the yard I went with my camera and my macro lens, and this is one of the images I got...........I hear this is called a Mexican Bird of Paradise........Feel free to let me know if you know it by a different name! But i do love these flowers! Hope you like this! And hopefully I'll get out shooting some more in the next few days or week!
