Spools of threads also have a fascination with me as well, and one day will try my hand doing them... until then, it is always a delight seeing good renderings like this to keep my mind of doing a rendering not too far back of my mind..... good colors, and for sure, good rendering..

6 X 5 INCHES!? This piece would be outstanding anyway, but that kind of detail that small...incredible. I had a sewing room before it got taken over by drawing stuff. :-P Thanks for the comment on Sam.
