"SOLIDARITY" by Karunita Kapoor is a mixed media abstract artwork. ( Acrylic paint, graphite, digital oils)
A powerful earthquake of almost 7.8 magnitude struck Nepal on 25th April, 2015. Being Nepal's immediate neibour, India was the first to respond with Operation Maitri ( friendship), which provided rescue and relief by it's armed forces within hours. It also evacuated its own and other countries stranded nationals.
India has demonstrated its global leadership in recent weeks, first in Yemen and then in Nepal! Proud Of it!
"Love thy neibour". When one neibour helps another, we strengthen our communities. This abstract artwork of mine represents this thought. Hope it is appreciated.
