Description
The incoming tide breaking over the harbour wall at Sennen Cove in the far west of Cornwall.
Sennen Cove Harbour supports a small fleet of local commercial fishing boats and is home to a fleet of small pleasure-fishing boats.
The largest boat is about 5 metres overall length.
The old capstan can still be seen in the Round House but an electric winch is now used to haul the boats across the beach and onto the slipway. A tractor is used by local fishermen but is not available to visiting vessels except through the harbour management in an emergency.

Love this vision of nature's fury...by the way, what does the "PZ" on the boats designate?
Terri Waters replied:
Thank you Jim. PZ denotes the boat is registered in Penzance. SS stands for St Ives.
