Description
Self portrait done from a photo taken at Peggys Cove Nova Scotia,Canada. It was a warm October day as I sat on the large boulders and I couldnt resist the warm pools of water that had gathered. My first trip to stunning Nova Scotia and I was totally captivated and wanted to be a permanent resident for a long time. The painting was done in acrylic on canvas and I have to say not having painted water before I felt I was challenged to a great degree as I did not want to lose the translucent affect of the water and the stone just below the surface.

Thanks Jim for your lovely compliment. I so miss Nova Scotia and Peggy's Cove. Live out on the west coast of Canada for 31 years and it's so beautiful here also.
