Seasons Change by Karen Cook -On a perfect October day, we went for a drive through southwest Nova Scotia. Taking a dirt road we had never traveled on before, we ended up in Gilbert's Cove, home to the Gilbert's Cove lighthouse which is located in the UNESCO Southwest Nova Biosphere Reserve. But on the way, this is the magnificent Autumn scene we encountered. The splendor of the changing seasons. The reflection of the reds, golds and blue sky mirrored in the calm water. Not a cloud in the sky!
