Description
When I grow up, I want to live by the sea. There is nothing more soothing or centering than walking along expansive sandy beaches, combing for shells, my bare feet wet and sandy, and the sound of the surf drowning my worries.
This miniature was painted en plein air at Seaside, Oregon, and finished in my studio. I wanted to catch that magic hours where it the sun starts to lower, casting long delicious shadows among the vegetation dancing in the Pacific Northwest breeze. The painting emotes a quiet sort of centering energy, full of light and contemplation. The colorful harmonies are sure to work beautifully in office or home. May it bring healing and security to your life. Enjoy ~Tali
