Description
This work is one of a series, called "Sea Point Impressionism." The scene is close to the artist's home in Sea Point, Cape Town.
The original painting is stretched and gallery-wrapped, (painting on all sides) so that framing is not necessary. However, it can easily be removed from its stretchers for safe and economical international shipment.
The setting sun and the reflective colours create an impressionistic painting, reminiscent of Monet's hay stacks.
