Description
A prominent landmark, very close to the chapel, is the lighthouse. This can also be seen from many parts of town and anywhere along the south shore as far as El Faro. In the evening it is a beacon for all visitors as well as any boats fishing at night.
....
I got my first camera, a Kodak Brownie, when I was six or seven years old, and I've been hooked on the art of photography ever since. A year or so later, I got my first processing and print making kit and I began to realize that I could be as creative, if not more so, in the darkroom than in the field. Over the years, my cameras and darkroom got more complex, giving me more creative tools to work with. About 10 years ago, I traded film, chemicals, tanks, trays, and the smell, for a digital camera and a copy of Photoshop. I never looked back.
