Samurai Way of the Warrior is a digital watercolor by artist Nikki Smith of BookSmithStudio.com. I love depicting strong women in my artwork. When I aquired a Katana sword recently (what a wonderful find!), I knew that it would be inspiration for one of my digital watercolor paintings. I had no idea what shape the final artwork would take when I began, and was pleasantly surprised by the results. This artwork features a strong female samurai warrior holding a kantana in a ready fighting stance. In the distance is a volcano, loosely inspired by Japanese Mt. Fuji.
This is also my latest self-portrait; I love my kantana sword! :)
This artwork was created stroke by stroke and layer by layer by artist Nikki Smith with love and exceptional attention to detail. It will look fabulous on your wall!
