This painting was created as a donation to a local Dunedin Horse Sanctuary in Florida named EQUESTRIAN INC. HORSE RESCUE OF TAMPA BAY.

Horses have been a part of making history throughout human existence. From wars, farming, carriages, riding, horse racing, and sadly even eating!
From Ontario to Florida I have witnessed many cruelty actions done to horses from so-called owners to wild round ups! They either make it to legal slaughter farms or like in south Florida illegal slaughter farms, and some find a home in a sanctuary if they're lucky.

We have to give some respect to this species! Give back their freedom! They have done enough for us now it's time we do for them and just let them live in peace.
