Carole you have really caught the spirit of the Saint Viateur Bagel shop in this painting. You can almost smell the aroma of the fresh bagels baking while the community shops, walks and plays on the street. To add hockey to this painting is like adding cream cheese to the bagel! The two things go hand and hand as perfect depctions of Montreal's hockey town spirit and the local shops that have a long history in this city.
