A little later in the evening from a previous photo, the stormy Atlantic is starting to pick up speed. Surf is crashing on the rocks of the beach which serves as a breakwater to protect the lobster boat at anchor in the little cove which provides a safe harbour against the open sea. The fisherman's wharf or stage, is close at hand for loading and unloading at any tide level, and a snug home is nestled against a stand of forest to protect it against the gales. Though the sun has set, the dull red glow in the sky is a warning of rough weather imminent.
