Description
Years ago I had joined a photography club in town. One of our field trips was a trip out to the local airport to visit the hangers of WWII flying ace Duncan Miller. Duncan is the self proclaimed mayor of the Nut Tree Airport. He has several hangers out there and one is completely decked out as a hanger/home. He has an office, complete kitchen, showers, restroom, and many easy chairs. Iï¿¿m not sure if he lives there but he certainly could. Inside this hanger is an old model A that looks like it just rolled off the assembly line, a couple of WWII trainers and other odds and ends.
In this image I have his Model A with a reflection of his C47 in the window. It seemed only proper that I convert the old war plane to a black and white. Duncan has since donated this old war bird to the Travis Air Force Museum.
