Description
A classic red barn with a white barn door and windows in New Hampshire on a foggy morning. The intersection of Route 116 and Wells road also known as Easton rd. SW of Franconia and west of Route 93. red barns today are a throwback to an earlier time when red wasn't easily created color using iron oxides. Most times farmers did not care what color their barn was and it was just a matter of getting something to protect it. Also the salesman who came along might have a lot of this red paint and pushed it.
It became the standard to see red barns and we seem to like the color so it stays around.
