Sketched in the life class of 1996.
The Rake;
As a line drawing, in a preliminary sketch of the model Philippe, sitting in a deck chair in his tatty top hat and coat. Drawn circa 1996.
The line drawing has an abstract quality that is a hallmark of my work by chancey design. Lucky for me it appeals to my aesthetic.
