On a recent trip to a horse ranch in San Juan Capistrano on a private ranch, I fell in love with two horses; this was one of them. This was an older horse--about 15 years old I believe. It was so pretty and so feminine. Her face captivated me to take a quick draw with the approach of a minimalist--or close to it.

Angela, personally I love this sketch just the way it is, with superlative textured background and swirls of the brush strokes to enhance the beautfy of the equine! If I were to push, it would not be from the north end of a southbound horse! LOL Love this beauty! fave and vote
