Description
I was so lucky to capture an image of this priest whilst visiting the Monastery at Pothia in the Greek Islands. He permitted me to take his photograph, and it was the first painting I just had to do when I arrived back home.

Wonderful work, Therese! Vertical to vertical is challenging, but you did very well!
Therese Alcorn replied:
Hi Zueling, I really appreciate your encouragement here. Thank you! Yes, I didn't really consider the technical aspects when doing this painting - I just knew that this image had to be expressed with paint - lol. Your galleries are inspirational, Xueling. I especially love your oil portraits - you've managed to capture the pure essence of the individuals. Congratulations!
