Description
For a tourist, it's always dreamy! However, it was a dreary afternoon with light drizzle, and the sun went down (if such a thing could be said when the weather was so dreary) around 4 pm. So night is falling fast even though it's not quite 5 pm! Many of the sites in the Prague Castle complex were already closing and the tourists were exiting the eastern gate and gathering at the 'scenic overview'. So there was a jostling to get a place to take a picture and a struggle to see the camera setting in the fast-falling darkness! But you can see it's rush hour on the Manesuv Bridge on the left. Also visible in the photo are the walls to the gardens south of the palace (in the foreground), the Vltava River, the Old Town Tower (where the Astronomical Clock is) on the left in the background, and the Charles Bridge and Charles Bridge with its eastern tower on the right.
