Hibiscus is Hawaii's state flower and hibiscus is known as the "Queen of Tropical Flowers", as it is believed to signify peace and bravery. The delicate blossoms can be found in shades of white, pink, yellow, peach and red, or various combinations thereof. The flower's delicate petals are light and fine and vary greatly in both color and size. Hibiscus flowers open in the morning and begin to wilt by the afternoon, and although they last only for a day or two, new buds soon appear so that the plant is almost always in full bloom.
