... An Appalachian Mountain barn,
found on a back-road
in the Murphy-Brasstown area
of North Carolina,
is shown here
on a crisp autumn evening,
color beginning
to touch the sky
and interesting
cloud formations above.
The ornamental pear trees
are a brilliant red
and seem to be embracing
the red roof
of the old barn.
The rolls of grass are golden
and ready for winter
to feed the livestock
on this pretty Blue Ridge
mountain farm
of North Carolina.
