Peach Tree At The Old Mill Of Guilford
Photograph - Photography
This image is of a peach tree with some large ripening peaches growing in front of the original old stone facade and wooden red window of the Old Mill of Guilford. That fresh peaches are growing on this property is just one example of a place that believes in doing things the natural way and the same way as our ancestors did them centuries ago. There are so many items of interest to see and enjoy at the Old Mill of Guilford, it is a place we try to visit often.
The Old Mill of Guilford was founded in North Carolina on Beaver Creek in 1767 to grind grain for the early settlers of what is now Guilford County. Today, the mill continues to produce all-natural, stone-ground, whole grain foods, just as it has for over 240 years.
The Mill produces all natural corn meal, grits and flour along with a wide range of all natural mixes.
The Old Mill of Guilford is a popular, scenic tourist attraction and has long been a favorite subject for artists and photographers.
