Description
A path winds through magenta wildflowers, by a wind-swept cypress tree, on a bluff overlooking the ocean at Pacific Grove (near Carmel and Monterey). Seagulls fly through the white, fluffy clouds. This California seascape is an original acrylic painting on a gallery-wrapped stretched canvas (the 3/4" sides are finished off in blue acrylic)--no need to frame. It has been lightly varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors. If you would like the canvas fitted with picture wire, let me know at the time of purchase (no additional charge). The piece can be hung as is on one or two parallel nails but some people prefer hanging wire if the piece is going to be hung unframed.

Thank you all so much for your kind comments :-). Just made my yearly trek over there in April (the magenta flowers only bloom in the Spring).

A very resplendent and colorful acrylic imagery, Laura! Love the pathway with the tree, rocks, and glorious bed of bright flowers lining both sides. Great depth and perspective on this masterfully done piece of work. Congrats on a very worthy sale, and you got my F/V on this masterpiece of beauty!
