Description
Also taken from Steptoe Butte State Park, this is the same farm as in my Palouse - Washington - Farms - #2 photo (see my Farms - Fields gallery). The major differences between the shots are time of day and lens length. Here the deep, rich, green of the fields and trees contrasts beautifully with the buildings, just touched by the early morning light.

And there's another wonderful Palouse image. I'm headed there this week; based on your success with poor weather, I'll be hoping for rain LOL. V/L/F
Nikolyn McDonald replied:
Thank you, Joy. We had a mixture - one rainy day, one gloriously sunny day, and the same sort of luck at the top where it's almost always cold and windy but we hit one evening that was actually calm and, while not balmy, quite comfortable.

Spectacular capture of this breathtaking country moment, Nikki! The magnificent early morning light plays beautifully on the gentle rolling hills topography with amazing hues in long shadows and direct focus on the valley farm. OUTSTANDING! L/F/T/G+/fb

Thank you so much, Hanne, for the generous comment and support. I appreciate it.

Wow, great light and those rolling hills just draw the eye in to see the house nestled there between them. Gorgeous location and lovely greens.
