Not ever photograph we like needs to make us feel good. This image is like that - it is powerful and disturbing to see his young child needing air. It pushes all those maternal buttons that make us want to make it better.

Michel, this is such a poignant image that it made me stop, study and really, really feel, as so many of your images do. The filthiness of the little boy's clothes combined with boxes of medications, more than likely never to be used for this child's health, and the hopeless look on his face all make my heart physically ache. You have captured another profound image that will stay with the viewer long after the photo is no longer visible. Beautifully done. Wow. ~l/f/T

This is so amazing capture Michel! Children always will make such a contrast with this kind of seedy-looking atmosphere and places....maybe because of that he is looking for "oxygen".... Again the tittle is very suitable for the scene....oxygen is what that kid needs for sure! Bravo, Michel, L&F
