The pier is closed in winter, but I still love coming down to Lake Ontario whether it's winter or summer, or any season for that matter. This scene is full of that wintry coldness in the sky the water and the land, as the sun slowly leaves a trace of color, and a tiny bit of warmth in the clouds above.

Thank you Linda…yes it's definitely up close and personal here! We have had a lot of snow and ice storms this winter, and it's not over yet! Some years we do get off light though…:)
