... The beaches in the evening are the best spot to view the changing colors and shapes of the clouds in the sky on Jekyll Island on coastal Georgia... These pretty sandy beaches catch the last pastel colors of light in the white glistening sand...This is the medium tide, when the salty waves have pulled back into the sea, leaving behind a vast and wide sandy beach of golden grasses and reeds but the waves still have tendrils that caress the roots of the trees along the coast. The sun has just reached the horizon on the west coast, and the sky has turned a very pretty blue, peach, and pink. Jekyll Island is a very special place for happy vacationers, families, and romantic weekends for couples. Enjoy the coast of south Georgia!
