Description
Just imagine peering in through the glass and seeing lush ripe olives stuffed with pimento looking back at you! These pimentos add great "hot" color to this painting!

This painting is not only beautiful in its color, but it is original and unusual as far as the creation. It is an unusual sort of still life, in that the olives were painted as they appear in their jar, creating flecks of light that were the reflection from the glass. Lots of fun!
...................................................................................................................... "Olives in a Jar" would be a wonderful addition to any kitchen or dining room motif, as well as restaurants, cafes, sandwich shops, and bistros. The history of olives lends to the ambiance of Italian and Greek food establishments.
..................................................................................................................... A lovely and unusual piece.
