Description
The paper was stretched and a simple light pencil sketch was my guide. the sky and snowdrift shadows were done at the same time and were wet. After they were dry I worked on the buildings, tree, and steps. I worked from light to dark with a more dry brush.These were quick to dry with my hair dryer. The last washes were shadows under the eves of the buildings and the grasses that are seen above the snow.
