Description
In my opinion, the major driving force of an obsession is love or hate. Love produces positive obsessions and hate produces negative obsessions. This painting is about obsessions of love. If we love someone or something hard enough, she or it will become an obsession. I think one minor factor is curiosity or strong interest. Love and curiosity drive an obsession together.
In this painting, I tried to express my feelings under positive obsessions. They are love, desire, pleasure, restlessness, curiosity, etc. The basic layout is simple. It’s composed with long flowing curves which suggest the dynamic nature of obsessions. Different shapes and colors mean various feelings related to obsessions. The whole painting suggests the main feeling, pleasure. I hope you enjoy the contrast between the warm and cool colors and the rhythm of the long curves.
My English is not very good. I hope you understand me. If you see other meanings in this painting, let me know by leaving a comment. If you want to see the print's actual brightness and color, please calibrate your monitor first. Thank you for reading this description! :D

Beautiful work David! I think your flowing image with its ebbs and flows also works for describing emotions. Congratulations on being featured in "Images That Excite You."
