well this is a place that I have been going to since 1958 and old enough to stand on the car seat next to my dad.. if I have been there once , I have been there close to 1000 times in my lifetime, seeing that I used to wait for the bus right out in front of the place to go home from High school.. This photo captures the true essecense and atmosphere of establishment.. its old, it's out dated and yet the symbolisim captures a period of time.. however the backlighting, instead of giving a feeling of closure, gives a feeling of new and continuing life.. that this is CURRENT and ALIVE.. and shall remain so for quite some time.. it is an excellent shot.. and one that is deeply ingrained in my life and lifetime.. it continually brings back memories of days and years gone by.. and yet will be there for those after I am gone..

I like these old places they take me back. We have one drive close by that I use to go to as a kids that I have in my galleries! Very nice capture and memory for those who went there Christi!

Back in the day, I think they'd have wrinkled their noses at the "low carb" option now offered. Definitely great custard.
