Fine art scenic landscape photograph capturing willow silhouettes and rosy lavender reflections of early dawn on the rippled waters of a lake at Gray Lodge Wildlife Area in Northern California. These winter wetlands provide critical habitat for migrating waterfowl such as the geese flying through the clouds in a V formation and the lone coot floating near the shore. The dark humps of Sutter Buttes rise in the background and seem to give birth to streamers of puffy purple clouds. This natural aquatic landscape is infused with peace and the promise of a beautiful new day.
