Inspired from my Pacific Northwest travels, the rural and remote areas of Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, the love of nature and the many moods of the four seasons. Discovering and enjoying remote places from which I've experienced such content and peace, capturing it with brush strokes or camera, it's my wish to share that with you. So, for a moment, ... be still.

So named because it just appears up out of the ground, flows for a ways and seeps right back into the ground as though an underground stream comes up for peek at what's going on, then returns to hiding. I marveled at the lush variety of plant life being nurtured in the location.
