This is a photo of the Holston Mountains in East Tennessee taken in 2011. A friend made a comment about how lovely the area was and that she might visit someday. I told her "if you come to the mountains, they will call to you forever" That conversation was the inspiration for this print.

This is lovely and so, so true... Having been born and raised there, but living in Georgia now, I am still drawn to the mountains. That first range I see as I approach Asheville, can make my heart soar, bring tears of joy to my eyes and tell me I am truly "coming home".
