Mount Whitney Vista
Glenn McCarthy Art and Photography
Photograph - Original Photography With A Painted And Textured Finish
Mount Whitney is a breathtaking pinnacle reaching 14,505 feet. It is the highest peak in the contiguous United States and at the tail end of what is called the John Muir Wilderness trail of California. The west slope of the mountain is in Sequoia National Park while the east slope is in the Inyo National Forest in Inyo County. Mount Whitney is above the tree line and has an alpine climate and ecology. Very few plants grow near the summit. It is a breathtaking scenic view from the Owens Valley and Alabama Hills.
USE THE MAGNIFIER TO GET AN UP CLOSE VIEW OF THE PAINTED AND TEXTURED FINISH. THE FineArtAmerica WATERMARK DOES NOT APPEAR OF PURCHASED PRODUCTS.
