Description:

This sculpture was inspired by a real Mexican hairless dog named by Moon Dog owned by a friend of mine. I used a difficult medium, sheet bronze and bronze rod. This is called forging and raising. The sheet bronze was heated, annealed and hammered into shapes and put together or constructed with bronze rods using an oxyacetylene welding technique. One of a kind. Counter sunk to heavy cedar base. Close to life size.
