Description
On one of my daily gallops on my Quarter Horse mare Candy, my horse kept glancing back. I looked over my shoulder and was astonished to see a huge bunch of baby pronghorn "antelope" speeding after me! The only adult with them was a young buck. The baby antelope followed Candy for about a mile, down through the sagebrush, along the margins of a lake and across creeks. I couldn't imagine why they were following us, unless perhaps they mistook the mare -- a similar color, as you can see -- for one of their own mothers! I recently completed this painting to commemorate this charming and mysterious event in my eventful life.

So sorry this has been stolen, Dawn. I had a painting go missing too. It is so nice that we have them recorded on FAA. I ordered a smaller version of the one I mislaid, from FAA on the metal Print. It is gorgeous! It makes me fell better just having it on my wall! I had been wanting to see what one of the metal prints looked like and I enjoy it very much. I love this painting, Dawn. V/F
