Description
My original home was in North Sydney, a town on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada. My grandfather was a fisherman, so our little house was perched partially on stilts over the waters of the harbor, which in itself was an inlet of the Atlantic Ocean.I always enjoyed the full moon hanging over the water, with the lights of the City of Sydney casting tiny specks of lights behind the moon's reflection. The photo was taken in 1953 with an Exakta 35mm. SLR, using Kodachrome film ASA10, and a long exposure on a tripod.
