The Shee Alms House is a very fine restored example of a Tudor merchant's house and is now home to the Kilkenny Tourist Office, see the INFO Banner. To the left note one of the many medieval laneways, St Mary's, the Clock Tower, The Butterslip, etc.

'' Irritated Julian, I like this painting but you've got the title wrong. This isn't Rothe House. It's the Shee Alms House (now the tourist office) on Rose Inn Street. You can even see the tourist information flag in the painting.''
I understand Julian is an art collector from Dublin 07, Ireland.
