Description
The salt marshes, artificial ponds for salt extraction, created on the coast in ancient times and is still in working order. Nate fact, under the domination of Phoenicia, alternating moments of prosperity in times of abandonment, have come down to us productive. Now a simple but superb combination of sun, water and wind creates a prized sea salt, worked today as it once was.
And the presence of windmills, almost all restored, and these huge white sand dunes and salt makes the landscape a picture of the past. From the windmills, one, that of Hector Infersa, hosts the Museum of Salt.
