Description
There are a couple of objects I have in this digital painting. First of all there was a contest of painting of the Blue Hyacinth Macaw. It that time I did not know what a Macaw was. After some research I learned how big, how beautiful and how expensive this pet is.
I love bright colors and I love birds in flight so I set out to digitally paint this gorgeous creature. Birds in flight are challenging to me and capturing movement is tricky.
After I was satisfied that I had done my best capturing this Blue Hyacinth Macaw I decided to present this image on a green, leafy, surreal background. The subject stands out and not having realistic trees in the background keeps the viewers focus on this subject.
