Description
Most of the tide pools, shallow bays and inlets of Florida have Mangroves. They are not just another pretty shore plant. These small trees serve a very useful need for the eco system. For one thing they give protection to birds, fish and wildlife of all types. But one of the best things that they do is save the shoreline from erosion. There roots help to hold the beach sand in place when there are hurricanes and storms. I still love them for there natural beauty!!! I hope you enjoy this "Low Tide Mangrove"!!!!
