A lonely bridge stands quietly over a rushing stream. The water runs from the hills above down through this cleft in the rocks. A sturdy wooden bridge allows travelers to cross the river and safety. The rain coming down turns into mist as it tries to penetrate the upper bows of the evergreens and spruce. The air is hazy with the mist of the rain and makes the woods even quieter than they normally would be, almost as if the woods were asking us to be quiet like in the library.
