Description
We came upon this tree in the final minutes of the last day of our long, slow-paced, meandering and wonderful trip up the Blue Ridge Parkway, from North Carolina to Virginia. We made the trip in the fall in order to see and capture the bright colored foliage. Instead, the brightest colored image of the trip came from a dead tree with a perfect sunset behind.
