At the beginning of 2013 I promised myself that I was going to try capturing the Fall Colors of the San Juan Mountains in Southwestern Colorado in early October and then fly out to Acadia National Park on the other side of the country two weeks after that, but I have to say that unfortunately those plans didn't go through for many reasons, (deenairaw mainly, of course!)
I wasn't going to let that situation bother me, so the last resort for someone that lives in Southeast Texas like me is, obviously, Southeastern Oklahoma/Western Arkansas. An explosion of colors just 6 hours away from home! How could I miss that? So, armed with my camera, and my cooler, I head out North.
This image was made on the side of Highway 259, north of Broken Bow, in the Ouachita Mountains...a logging truck passing by...please enjoy, and preview individual areas of the photograph for quality! Thank you so much for looking! FAA watermark WILL NOT show on final printed artwork.
