Description
The 283-acre Bend/Sunriver preserve on the Little Deschutes River, offers the best of both worlds: warm summers and snowy, dry winters. Fishing is allowed on the preserve, and area rivers and lakes offer salmon, whitefish, and rainbow trout. Other summer fun includes boating, swimming, hiking and horseback riding. Mt. Bachelor, a world-class ski resort just minutes away, provides many winter activities as well as summer hiking and mountain biking. Wifi is available in the town square! The community is home to more than two dozen tennis courts, swimming pools, parks, a nature center, the Oregon Observatory at Sunriver, stables, a marina and general aviation airport accessible via the 33 miles of paved pathways for pedestrians and bicyclists. Mt. Bachelor ski area, an excellent Native American Museum and Crater Lake are among nearby destinations.

Thank you to the buyer from Sunriver who made this purchase. In our RV tours of the country, this is one of our Top Favorite areas. We have spent several weeks here a year, for about ten years. One year, stayed in Sunriver three weeks, went to Bend a week, came back for another three weeks. :)

What a stunning, glowing landscape and action shot! I love the comp and the way the yellow kayaks add a bright accent and lead the eye into the scene. This photo has a great spatial division of foreground, midground and background!

Thanks Liane Schneider, we belong to Thousand Trails and have been here many times. Usually we stay three weeks, go to our sons home for three weeks parking the RV in the back yard next to their tennis court. Then we go back to Sunriver again, and so on, and on. :)
