Description
A beautiful black bear, his rich fur glistening in the sun of an autumn afternoon, stands knee deep in a cool running stream. Behind him is with the never ending slow-dance between the million shades of blues of the sky and the creams and whites of the clouds. But Mr. Bear doesn't see any of that. Fishermen can be like that. He's focused on the hunt for his lunch ... a tasty fish or two. This magnificent wild creature's image was captured at Blue Knob Mountain near Claysburg, PA.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."

Such a painterly eye you have! Dynamic composition and the blue and rust-orange hues just draw me into this one. Beautiful! jean

Such a wonderful capture, making such a powerful and scary animal into a sympathetic character vf
Lois Bryan replied:
thank you, Guy ... fortunately I've always been on the inside of the car, motor running, when I've seen him and his friends. I suppose one of these days I'll run into one of them on one of my walks ... but so far so good!!!
