This beautiful study in watercolors was completed over a two week process. The portrait is intended to provide the viewer with some insight into the figures emotions. The brightness of the paints towards the top and contrasting darkness towards the bottom are intended to relate the emotion of self doubt or body image issues. While this piece is beautiful and vibrant you can see in the figure her face does not relay a feeling of happiness or content rater a slight depressed quality.
