Thanks Margaret! Kind of you to say. I'm big on contrast and taking something in front of me, then balancing the canvas with color, shape, etc. It's as much a photorealistic painting I did of the actual subject, as much as it is a painting about color and shape. Well, to me anyway. :) The original is happily in my living room!
