"Lilac Bouquet Encaustic Painting" is a 9x12" encaustic painting on board, framed in a natural wood floater frame. After buying this lovely bouquet at my neighborhood farmer's market this past weekend, I enjoyed trying to capture its beauty in both this encaustic painting, and I also painted it in oils. It was enjoyable taking a different approach and seeing two very different outcomes.
